SITUATED ON THE banks of the River Slaney in Co Wexford, Ferrycarrig Hotel is the perfect – and most picturesque – spot for all of your Christmas get-togethers.

To really add some magic this Christmas, the award-winning hotel is serving up festive afternoon tea daily, with a menu influenced by the best of the season’s ingredients.

In celebration, we’re giving one lucky reader of TheJournal.ie‘s Family Magazine the chance to win afternoon tea for four.

Ferrycarrig Hotel’s kitchen team was recently decorated with two AA rosettes for culinary excellence, so you’ll know you’re in for a treat.

Enjoy a selection of bite-sized delights including Meyler’s oak-smoked salmon on Guinness brown bread, Rosslare crabmeat on courgette and walnut loaf, mince pies, Christmas plum pudding and, of course, delicious scones and clotted cream. All of this is served up in the hotel’s lounge, where guests can relax on plush sofas by a roaring fire.
