IT’S BEEN A fun-filled week in Wexford town as the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann has brought festivities, an impromptu Ed Sheeran performance – and now, a new world record.
Over 1,000 musicians took part in the biggest céilí band set at Chadwick’s Wexford Park last night. The group successfully played three polkas in unison – the Wexford Polka, the Gaelscoil Polka and The Little Diamond.
This was one of many events scheduled for the festival, which concludes on 10 August.
While the activities continue over the weekend, we wanted to ask: Have you ever been to the Fleadh?
