Status Yellow fog warning issued for eleven counties tomorrow morning

Met Éireann has warned the foggy weather could cause poor visibility and difficult driving conditions.

MET ÉIREANN HAS issued a Status Yellow fog warning for eleven counties from 5am to 10am tomorrow morning.

Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath and Wicklow are under the fog warning.

The national forecaster has warned there will be dense fog in some parts.

The weather conditions could cause poor visibility and difficult driving conditions.

The rest of the day will be generally cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Thankfully the cold will be easing slightly.

Tonight will be wet and breezy with widespread rain that will later turn to scattered showers.

The wind will later ease, allowing areas of mist and fog to develop. Fog may become dense in places overnight.

It should stay above freezing with lowest temperatures of one to five degrees expected. It could be a little colder in the midlands, and a touch of frost is possible.

Tomorrow will start off as a dry day and fog will slowly clear to sunny spells and scattered showers.

It will turn cloudier through the day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing in the south and west.

It will be milder than the last few days with highest temperatures of seven to eleven degrees expected.
