Go west and take a look at these four detached homes around the hooker county.

WE’RE HEADING WEST this week to discover what’s on offer for anyone with a budget of €600,000 max. Four detached homes dotted around Co Galway have made the cut this time, from a four-bed with stunning views in Leenane to a five-bed architecturally-designed home in Moycullen.

Four-bed, detached, Leenane – €595,000

On an elevated 3.5 acre site, the view form this four-bed is hard to beat seeing as Killary Fjord is in its eyeline as well as the Maamturks and Twelve Bens. Spanning a roomy 255 m², this luxurious family home was built in 2011. It’s filled with high-end fixtures like the solid frame cherry wood kitchen, underfloor heating, and a whopping five en-suite wetrooms.

A large lawn, lots of parking, a detached garage and timber shed make up the surrounding grounds. A five minute drive from Leenane, the village has an array of amenities and there’s plenty to do if outdoor activities are top of the agenda. A swimming spot in Killary Fjord is just a stroll away, while beautiful Glassilaun beach is a short drive from here.
