Gardaí arrest four people and seize e-bikes, e-scooters and scramblers in west Dublin searches

Gardaí also seized a drone, €10,000 worth of liquid THC and €500 worth of cannabis.

GARDAÍ SEIZED 17 e-bikes, scooters and scramblers in a string of searches last Friday.

A man in his 20s was arrested and subsequently charged with an offence under the Road Traffic Act 1961 and bailed to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice next month.

Three other individuals were arrested on foot of live bench warrants.

In the operation targeting vehicles in west Dublin suspected of criminal activity, gardaí carried out searches on nine homes in Clondalkin, Ballyfermot, Rathcoole and Blanchardstown.

Over the course of the searches, gardaí seized seven e-bikes, six e-scooters, a diesel scrambler, an electric Surron scrambler, a bicycle and a drone.

They also seized €10,000 worth of liquid THC and €500 worth of cannabis.

The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for examination and analysis.

Investigations are ongoing.
