THE LATE LATE Show will not be airing at its usual Friday night slot on RTÉ One tonight.
Instead, Patrick Kielty’s weekly show will be swapped out for romantic comedy It’s Complicated, starring Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin.
An RTÉ spokesperson said the schedule change is due to the Six Nations coverage.
“The Late Late Show will not air this Friday night as Ireland take on Wales in the Six Nations,” a spokesperson said.
The match will kick off in Dublin’s Aviva stadium this evening. Coverage of the match begins on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player from 7pm.
The spokesperson said that The Late Late Show will return on Friday, 13 March.
Viewers will get to see a St Patrick’s Day special next week “featuring a fantastic line-up of guests ready to kick off the weekend’s festivities”.
