How much do you know about home energy upgrades compared to the average reader?

Test your knowledge and start your home energy upgrade journey?

WHILE MANY OF us are always making changes to become more sustainable, we’re all at different stages in the journey…

One of the most valuable ways you can reduce your carbon footprint is to invest in Home Energy Upgrades that will make your home more comfortable, less costly to run, and less reliant on fossil fuels.

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) wants you to have a more energy-efficient home, with government-funded grants and expert advice to support your Home Energy Upgrade journey. These grants can facilitate all manner of upgrades, including the installation of a heat pump, wall and attic insulation, or the installation of solar panels.

All of these improvements are designed to bump up your BER rating, which will increase the value of your house and reduce your energy bills as you use less energy.

Today, we want to find out how much you know about Home Energy Upgrades, and our slider ratings tool below will let you see how your knowledge measures up to that of other readers. All you need to do is drag the slider between 1 and 10 based on your level of knowledge. After you’ve made your selection, the tool will tell you how your answer compares to the average reader’s answer.

Once you’ve had your say, visit SEAI.ie to explore the full range of grants and resources — and take the next step towards a warmer, cheaper-to-run, and more sustainable home.
