FINDING A HOME that matches your budget without compromising your list of must-haves can be tricky, but we’re here to make that task easier.
Each week we round up homes on the market for a certain price point to see how far your budget will get you. This week, we’re looking at properties around the country that are on the market for €200,000 on the nose.
From a five-bedroom house in Longford to a two-bed in Meath, here are four properties around the country that match this price point.
Set over three floors, 10 Landsdowne Close is a four bedroom and four bathroom home in turn-key condition. Upon entering the hallway, the bright and spacious living room is to the right, complete with feature fireplace, with the open plan kitchen and dining room to the rear. Double doors lead from the fully equipped kitchen to the garden and decking – perfect for al fresco dining.
There are two bedrooms on both the first and second floor, with built-in wardrobes in each. Portarlington town centre is just a five minute walk from the property, with a selection of schools, shops and restaurants close by. Dublin is a 45 minute drive away.
Tucked away in the cul-de-sac of Kilrane Manor estate is Number 18, a three bedroom and two bathroom property. Located beside Kilrane village and just a 25-minute walk from Rosslare Harbour, the semi-detached home boasts sea views from the living room.
To the rear of the property is the open plan kitchen and dining room, with double doors leading to the sun trap back garden. There is also a utility room and a guest bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom – complete with electric shower – extending from the master bedroom. The family bathroom features a stunning roll top bath, while the landing gives access to the partly-floored attic.
Ready for immediate occupancy, 73 Dun Darrach comes to the market fully furnished and in pristine condition. The five bedroom detached house is ideal for a young family, with a walled front lawn and back garden complete with patio and decking area. There is one bedroom downstairs, complete with wood floor, with the additional four bedrooms on the first floor.
Located in a cul-de-sac, Number 73 is in close proximity to Longford town, with many of its amenities just a five minute drive away – or a 30 minute walk. Longford Golf Course and several shops, restaurants and schools are all within short walking distance.
Located less than a 40 minute drive from Dublin is 3 The Heath. A two-bed terraced property, Number 3 features a sizable living room, dining room and downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted and features a built-in oven, hob and extractor fan.
The two double bedrooms upstairs each feature fitted wardrobes. There is a garden to the rear with decking area and flower beds. Laytown Beach is a short stroll away, as well as Laytown Race Course and train station. Several restaurants, schools and shops are also within walking distance.
