EACH WEEK, WE spotlight four Irish properties within a certain price range, to give you a better idea of what your money can get you in the current market. Today, we’re on a budget of in and around €225,000.
Here’s what you’ll find in Ireland for that price right now, from a stylish development in Co Louth to a brand-new home in Ennis, Co Clare.
Mount Hamilton is a development made up of two, three and four-bedroom homes, just outside Dundalk town. There are private gardens to the front and rear, and a tarmacadam driveway with plenty of parking space.
Inside, Mount Hamilton homes have Shaker-style kitchens and offer a choice of work surfaces for the new owners. The BER rating of A3 is reached by use of solar panels and a modern heating system – which you can control via smartphone.
Located just outside of Tralee town, the Kilcaragh Lawn development features a mix of three-bedroom and four-bedroom semi-detached properties. Finished in a mixture of tiling and oak timber, there are two sizeable gardens to the front and rear of each.
The kitchen and utility rooms are fully fitted, with plenty of room for dining as well as cooking. The bedrooms are doubles, with large wardrobes and plenty of storage space.
Designed to meet the highest of standards, the remaining homes in Moore Abbey Court have three bedrooms and ample space for families. Each property has fitted kitchen storage and wardrobes by John Hughes carpentry throughout, as well as zoned heating and solar panels.
A utility room off the kitchen adds extra storage space, and the location is great, too: the M7 is close by, and you can be in Dublin city in an hour.
Located just outside the bustling town of Ennis, Meadow View is a development of semi-detached homes with a BER rating of A3. All properties boast timber flooring and tiling throughout, as well as underfloor heating in some parts of the house.
The bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, and the main room has en-suite bathroom access, too. There’s also a delightful main room with a stylish multi-fuel stove to keep you cosy.
