IT CAN BE TRICKY to find that perfect home when you’re on a budget. That’s why each Friday, we round up a selection of homes at a certain price point, so you can get a sense of what’s out there for you.
This week, we’re taking a look at the upper end of the scale, at homes priced around the €500,000 mark.
Built on a large site in the heart of Rosses Point village, Radharc na Rí is the picture of luxurious rural living. But with large beaches, a leisure centre and multiple shops nearby, it’s anything but isolated.
The grounds of the property feature well-kept mature gardens, as well as a detached garage and a private putting green for golf fans. Inside, solid wood flooring abounds, and there’s plenty of space for entertaining: the home even has its own games room.
Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Larchfield development, this home is an excellent purchase for commuters. It’s five minutes from here to Dunboyne train station, and another forty minutes will have you in Dublin city centre.
The property itself has been expertly extended, with a new living room added that makes a great family area. It’s home to an open fireplace and large bay windows, so it’s bright during the day and cosy by night. Outside, there’s a large walled garden area that requires little maintenance, and a garden shed.
Located just off the KCR, and close to multiple bus routes, this Kimmage home is a delight inside. A bright, contemporary kitchen boasts German appliances and a comfortable dining area, and the lounge is filled with light.
The ground floor has largely marble flooring, and upstairs, an attic has been converted into a bedroom, adding extra space if it’s needed. This home also comes with a large Shomera extension – it’s a workspace/extra room that is fully wired and insulated.
This four-bedroom home at Hazel Hill is a wonderful spot for anyone who wants the best of both city and country. Located just ten minutes to Cork city by car, the development is in the village of Douglas, a thriving community that’s home to excellent schools, shops and sports clubs.
Hazel Hill is a small development of high-quality, energy efficient homes, perfect for growing families. Surrounded by trees and parkland, the homes have been meticulously designed and have numerous exciting features, such as wood-burning stoves, zoned heating areas and oak doors throughout.
