FINDING A HOME that matches your budget without compromising your list of must-haves can be tricky, but we’re here to make that task easier.
Each week we round up homes on the market for a certain price point to see how far your budget will get you. This week, we’re looking at properties around the country that are on the market for exactly €275,000.
Here are four properties around Ireland to add to your must-see list…
Located just off Mill Road, 70 Spring Grove is a four-bed semi detached property. Spanning 1,435 sq ft, the accommodation comprises of a living room, open-plan kitchen and dining room, a study, utility room and downstairs bathroom. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, one en-suite bathroom and a family bathroom.
The River Shannon is only but a short walk away, while there are several schools within the vicinity. Outside, there is a south-easterly facing rear garden with a patio, storage shed and side entrance.
A three-bed home with three bathrooms, 39 Ferndale is a semi-detached property located just a 20 minute drive from Cork city. Double doors lead from the living room at the front of the property to the kitchen and dining area. From here, sliding doors open to the large, south-facing back garden and a decking area suited for al fresco dining in the sun.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms, including the master which has an en-suite bathroom. A family bathroom is also on this floor. Subject to planning permission, there is potential to extend the property too. Carrigaline’s busy centre is just a 15 minute stroll away.
With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, space is no issue in this airy dormer bungalow. The property extends to 2,421 sq ft and features a solid wood fitted kitchen with a tiled floor and double oven, a utility room and a living room. French doors lead from the sun room to the rear garden.
The three bedrooms downstairs have wooden floors, while the remaining two upstairs come complete with carpet and fitted wardrobes. Each upstairs bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with an office also on this floor. Generous-sized gardens to the front and rear provide privacy – and plenty of space for kids to run around.
Located between the villages of Duncormick and Kilmore Quay, this four-bed home sits on a site of 0.75 acres. An inviting hallway leads to the spacious living room, which features timber flooring, a feature open fireplace and coving. Each of the four bedrooms are spacious and well-proportioned, with an en-suite bathroom extending from the master bedroom. Beaches at Cullenstown, Kilmore Quay and Ballyhealy are just minutes away, while Wexford town can be reached by car within 25 minutes.
