Will you take a holiday in Ireland this year?

New data shows the number of foreign visitors fell in February.

CENTRAL STATISTICS OFFICE (CSO) figures show a 30% drop in foreign visitors to Ireland in February 2025 compared to last year.

The data is continuously collected at international ports and airports. The CSO plans to meet with Tourism Ireland and other industry bodies to discuss the data this Friday.

Industry figures have pointed to economic uncertainties, rising living costs in the UK and Europe, and high prices in Ireland as reasons for a reduction in tourism.

So today we’re asking: Will you take a holiday in Ireland this year?
