Watch: Did you spot these jets flying low over Dublin city centre?

These Italian fighter jets flew down the Liffey, releasing tricolour smoke.

IF YOU’RE NEAR Dublin city centre, you might have heard a loud noise earlier this afternoon.

These Italian fighter jets flew low over the city just after 3.30pm, releasing tricolour smoke as they passed.

The group is Frecce Tricolori, one of the aerobatic teams performing at Bray Air Display, and were on their way to Baldonnel Aerodrome ahead of the big event.

They were proceeded by the Spitfire, a World War II fighter plane.

You’ll also spot the Red Arrows, the Breitling Wingwalkers and the Irish Air Corps at the festival, along with others.

The event takes place over two days this weekend. More details are available online here.
