Komorowsk sworn in as new Polish president
POLAND has a new president. Bronislaw Komorowsk was sworn in this morning, succeeding Lech Kaczynski as head of state. Komorowsk defeated former Prime Minister Jaroslaw Haczynski – the twin of the late President, killed in a plane crash – in the election last month.
