DART, Maynooth, Dundalk and Kildare late-night trains start this weekend for Christmas period

Security personnel will be on board all late-night trains to ensure customer safety.

LATE-NIGHT TRAINS will operate over the next three weekends, as well as on New Year’s Eve.

Iarnród Éireann has extended the Dart and commuter train schedules before and during the Christmas period.

Security personnel will be on board all late-night trains to ensure customer safety.

Late-night services will operate on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This applies to trains within Dublin and commuter services to and from Maynooth, Dundalk, and Kildare.

Times added:

  • 00:30 and 01:30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
  • 00:35 and 01:35 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
  • 00:40 and 01:40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
  • 00:27 and 02:10 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
  • 23:55 and 01:58 from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare

Late-night services will also operate after New Year’s festivities in Dublin city centre, around one hour later than pre-Christmas late-night services.

Irish Rail reminded passengers that journeys departing after midnight on the journey planner will be displayed on the next date.

Fares will be charged at normal rates.
