Woman arrested after dead body of man found in Limerick back garden

The 34-year-old woman was arrested yesterday evening.

A 34-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested by gardaí investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a Limerick garden.

The body was found in the back garden of a house at Briarfield, Castletroy yesterday morning, and has been identified as Michal Rejmer, who had been reported missing.

The State Pathologist and members from the Garda Technical Bureau were at the scene this morning, and a post-mortem examination was carried out earlier today.

The remains were found by gardaí who were investigating reports of a missing person.

The woman was arrested yesterday evening and is currently being held at Henry Street Garda Station in the city.

She is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to 24 hours.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Briarfield area since Wedenesday 30 December and who noticed anything unusual or suspicious to contact them.
