Man (20s) arrested in Limerick city after four injured in altercation

Four people were taken to hospital following the incident.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a disturbance outside a house in Scanlon Park, Castleconnell, Limerick at approximately 7pm yesterday.

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries following the incident. One of the injured, a man in his 30s, had what gardaí described as “an apparent stab wound” that’s been described as non-life threatening.

A man in his 20s was later arrested by gardaí and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Henry Street Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
