Third arrest made today over 2010 murder of Lee Slattery in Co Limerick

A THIRD ARREST has been made today as part of an investigation into the murder of Lee Slattery, whose body was found at the Delmege House estate near Moyross, Limerick in 2010.

A man and a woman in their thirties were arrested this morning and are detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at garda stations in the south of the country.

A woman aged in her 50s was arrested this afternoon. She is currently detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act 1939, as amended and is in custody at a garda station in the southern Region.

There have been 27 arrests made in connection with the case over the course of the investigation.

Sources have said Lee Slattery was suspected to have been killed by a number of people.

A recent review of the case has been conducted.
