A MAN HAS been arrested by the PSNI on suspicion of the murder of Lisa Dorrian.

Lisa was from Bangor in Co Down and was last seen alive on the night of Sunday 27 February, 2005 at a party in Ballyhalbert Caravan Park.

She was 25-years-old.

Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team today made an arrest in relation to the investigation of Lisa’s murder.

The 68-year-old man was arrested earlier today on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial.

He remains in police custody at this time.

In February of this year, the PSNI released CCTV footage of some of Lisa’s last known movements in Co Down.
