A MAN, AGED in his 20s, has been arrested this morning on suspicion of being involved in a number of burglaries as well as the theft of “high value” vehicles.

He was arrested as part of an operation targeting an organised crime group suspected of being involved in business and residential burglaries.

Garda members from the Clare and Tipperary division and the Southern Region Support Units were involved in the intelligence-led operation, gardaí said.

The man arrested is currently detained at a garda station in the southern region.
