Table service has been rolled out in 14 Irish McDonald's restaurants

The fast food chain is now deciding on whether to introduce it to all 90 outlets here.

TABLE SERVICE HAS launched in 14 Irish McDonald’s restaurants.

Instead of queuing up for your food, customers can now place their order at a self-service kiosk, pay by card and then sit down and wait for their dinner to be delivered.

The changes have been brought into 14 fast food restaurants spread out over five counties.

The new self-service option is available at the following locations:

  • Dublin: The Square, Tallaght.  Dublin Airport T1, Donaghmede, Carrickmines and Lucan
  • Kildare: Naas Drive-Thru
  • Kilkenny: Kilkenny Drive-Thru
  • Louth: Dundalk
  • Cork: Douglas, Ballincollig and Musgrave Park

McDonald’s director of operations, Jimmy Edwards, said they are now thinking of extending the service to all 90 of their outlets.

He said:”The introduction of table service is a very exciting development and we are very much looking forward to extending these innovations across our network of 90 restaurants around Ireland in the coming years.”
