Two men charged after €1.5 million worth of heroin found in two cars

They are both due to appear before court at the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.

TWO MEN IN their 30s are due in court after heroin worth €1.5 million was found when two cars were stopped in Dublin yesterday.

Ten kilos of the drug were seized on the Naas Road Southbound, near Rathcoole.

Four premises were also searched in Wexford and Dublin.

It was part of an intelligence led joint operation between Officers of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau of An Garda Síochána and the Revenue Commissioners Customs Service

The men, aged 32 and 39, are due to appear before court at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30 this morning.
