Taking its name from the very first Mini, the 1959 Austin Seven, the MINI Seven has been designed to fuse the brand’s classic heritage with modern design and technology.

The MINI Seven joins the current generation MINI Hatch range in 5-door or 3-door form with specially designed exterior and interior looks unseen before on this generation’s model line-up.

The MINI Seven is finished, as standard, in Lapisluxury Blue, however, three other body finishes are also available; Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green.

A Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps come as standard as well as 17-inch light alloy wheels in exclusive MINI Seven Spoke two -tone design.

Inside, the fabric/leather sports seats are finished in Diamond Malt Brown, designed exclusively for MINI Seven. There is also a MINI Visual Boost 6.5-inch colour display with MINI Connected, Bluetooth and USB audio as well as the MINI Excitement Pack, and automatic dual zone air con.

The new car will be unveiled for the very first time at Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show on Thursday 23 June. Orders are being taken now and prices start from €27,090 OTR for the MINI 3-door Seven and from €28,270 for the MINI 5-door Seven.

Since it was launched in Ireland, over 5,000 Hilux have been sold. The current generation was launched in 2005 and enjoyed a refresh in 2011 but now, an all-new Hilux arrives in Irish showrooms in time for 162 registrations.

Irish buyers get a choice of single cab or double cab body styles and three trim levels; DLX, SR5 and Invincible.

The Hilux features a new 148bhp 2.4-litre D-4D Euro6 engine with 400Nm of torque and can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 7.0 litres/100km.

Toyota Safety Sense is available on the new Hilux and includes a Pre-Collision System with pedestrian recognition, Lane Departure Alert and Road Sign Assist. This is in addition to other safety features such as Hill Assist Control, Downhill Assist Control, Trailer Stability Control and Active Traction Control.

A new car shopping experience has opened up in Pavilions Shopping Centre Swords. The Linders Renault & Dacia Car Store will be a one-stop car buying shop, taking customers on a journey from solo test drives right through to financing.

Once inside, customers are taken through three steps designed to take the sometime hassle out of car buying. First, customers use the Renault app to design their car. Then, their trade-in is valued via an independent third party online market valuation app and finally, they can apply for smart finance from Renault’s own bank RCI (Renault Bank).

Ian Hunter from Pavilions Shopping Centre said:

We are delighted to welcome Linders Renault to the Pavilions Shopping Centre. Having Ireland’s first car store set up shop with us has been an exciting venture. We think our customers will relish the opportunity to have the car showroom come to them, where they like to shop.
