A Life’s Worth

For those who prefer a powerful series based on a true story, check out the six-part A Life’s Worth. This impactful show is inspired by the experiences of the first Swedish UN battalion in Bosnia in 1993.

It follows four young soldiers named Forss, Babic, Strand and Kilpinen as they head out on their first overseas mission to the heart of the bloody Balkan conflict. The Hunt

Another series based on a true story is the gripping The Hunt. In 1999, the body of 16-year-old Marianne Vaatstra was discovered near an asylum seekers’ centre in the Netherlands. The shocking crime captivated the country and The Hunt details the long and frustrating investigation into catching the killer.
