Any fond memories of past Oasis concerts in Ireland? We want to hear your stories

The rock n’ roll stars will return to Ireland in dramatic fashion at Croke Park on Saturday.

LAST UPDATE | 13 Aug

SOME MIGHT SAY we’ve been waiting far too long for this, but they’re finally back – Oasis will make their highly-anticipated return to Ireland with two sold-out shows at Croke Park this weekend.

The two performances will mark their first Irish gigs in 16 years, after the band split in dramatic fashion in 2009.

During their glory years, Oasis played several Irish shows, performing at a variety of venues across the country.

Do you have any fond memories of shouting along to Morning Glory in Páirc Uí Chaoimh?

Did you splash out 6 punts and 75 pence for a ticket to their ’94 gig in Tivoli?

Were you there when Oasis packed out Slane?

We want to share your stories, photos, and memories from past Oasis concerts in Ireland.

Let us know about your experiences

  • Were you ever at an Oasis concert in Ireland/abroad before?
  • Did you struggle to get tickets for their previous gigs?
  • Did you ever meet/spot Liam or Noel Gallagher out and about in Ireland?

Please get in touch by emailing answers@thejournal.ie and telling us about your experiences.

Describe your experience in a paragraph or two, and we’ll reflect your stories in a future article on this.

Please include your name, age and county, and let us know if you would like to remain anonymous.
