IRELAND’S THREE-DAYS of warning-worthy summer temperatures have ceased and the country is now “cooler and fresher”, so says Met Éireann

Temperatures that reached the high 20s are now low 20s, which is perhaps a good thing for both sunburn avoidance and vehicular traffic at seaside spots. 

Gardaí were doling out fines to the large numbers of people parked illegally near some beaches in north Dublin, with other swimming spots equally rammed. Did you get involved with the rush to the sea?
