Price comparison: What are my options around Co Offaly on a €475k budget?

From a roomy two-bed in Tullamore to a massive seven-bed in Edenderry.

THIS WEEK WE’RE heading to the midlands to find out what you could get for under €475k in today’s property market.

It can be hard to find the time to trawl through listings, so let us take a load off. If you’re looking to buy in Co Offaly, one of these houses may just tick all of the boxes.

Four-bed, detached, Walsh Island – €420,000

If starting your own bricks and mortar business is a dream of yours, this is a large family home that has a shop space to the side. Just off the R420 regional road, the village of Walsh Island is a walk away while Portarlington is just a 15 minutes drive away, Edenderry is 20 and Tullamore is 25. This is also handy for those who work in the capital a few days a week as Dublin is less than an hour and a half away. 

Inside, the main house is ready to go. The bedrooms are all double, and one is on the ground floor with the guest toilet.
