Imaginative design makes this €2.75m Dublin home a delight inside and out

Not to mention the fact that it comes with its own professionally designed putting green.

THIS FIVE-BEDROOM home was already a stand-out contemporary property when it was purchased by the current owners close to a decade ago, but it’s had another complete transformation since then.

In the last ten years the property has been extended, the garden and patio have been remodelled with eye-catching geometric stone and glass chip designs, and – most impressive – there’s now a private European Tour putting green on the site.

Kildarick sits on grounds of over 1.1 acres, and has more than enough space for another property adjacent to the current one, should the new owners wish to kick off a transformation of their own.

Inside are plenty of polished stone surfaces, clean lines and vibrant accents of colour, giving the house a creative, carefree feel at every turn.

Downstairs, an entrance hallway leads into a family room with an open fireplace, followed by an expansive kitchen/dining/living area with a double-height gallery, feature gas fireplace and a glass wall opening onto an outdoor space.

The kitchen, designed by German brand Allmilmö, features Miele appliances, a Liebherr fridge, a Smeg oven and Fisher Paykel dishwasher.

A back door off the kitchen leads to a side courtyard and garage, and a home cinema room finishes off the ground floor accommodation.

Upstairs are four spacious double bedrooms, including a master suite with its own balcony, a walk-in dressing area and an en-suite bathroom. An additional room could be used as a study or a single bedroom. The bathroom, with its mosaic-tiled wall fresco, completes the first floor rooms.

As well as the patio and putting green, the outdoor area includes its own kitchen, a barbecue and a garage with WC.

The house is at Rathmichael, 35 minutes south of Dublin city centre, and has easy access to the M50 and Dublin Bus routes.

Kildarick, Quarry Rd, Rathmichael, Co Dublin is for sale for €2,750,000 with Knight Frank via Daft.ie.
