RENOVATED TO AN EXACTING and loving standard by its current owners, Landore Hall in Dublin 6 is a five-bedroom villa full of drama and opulence.

Dating back to the mid-1800s, many of the period features have been retained – from ceiling roses to sash windows – while the rest of the house has been updated for the 21st century in the most luxurious fashion possible.

On the ground floor, you’ll enter one of the six reception rooms in the house, each with double height ceilings.

The downstairs kitchen (yes, it’s one of two) was designed by famed designer Clive Christian, and features a magnificent oak island, as well as tons of high-end culinary ware.

The upstairs kitchen is every bit as striking; its major design influence is the 1999 Stanley Kubrick film Eyes Wide Shut.

You’ll find plenty of leather and wood design features, and, according to The Irish Times, the room is home to a Venetian mask signed by the creator of the masks used in the film.

Landore Hall is also home to a spectacular games room, beautiful living rooms and five spectacular bedrooms. Outside, there is a paved and lawned garden, as well as a second property.

This smaller property was once a coach house, but it’s been converted into a two-bed space that’s perfect for friends staying or to house an au pair.

While the coach house is not quite as glamorous as Landore Hall, it’s nonetheless a very comfortable and pretty space.
