23-year-old man dies in Cork crash

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been killed in a road crash in Bandon, county Cork.

The single car crash happened on the R586 at Murragh, Enniskeen at around 3.10 this afternoon.

The man died when the vehicle he was driving left the road.

He was pronounced dead at scene and taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.

The road is currently closed as gardaí examine the scene – local diversions are in place.
