And we were glad to see the wintry weather is making the Canadian Ambassador feel right at home.
We asked for your photos too – if it’s white and wintry where you are, send them on to pictures@thejournal.ie.
Meantime, Luke Kavanagh in Dublin sent this…
Just down the road in Maynooth, this was the scene – taken by Liam Jennings…

Ditto at the Blessington Lakes in Co Wicklow. The photo below is from Philip Walsh…
This was the view from the Old N3 in Meath – from Lisa Kerins…
Some humans make an appearance in this one. Oliver and Eabha Lily Fallon were out playing in Parke, Kinnegad early this morning…
Olivia Kelly – who’s on her last day of maternity leave – sent us these from Finglas in north Dublin…
Here’s what it looked like in Leixlip – from Betty O’Dwyer…
Gavin Ross sent us this pic of his – as he puts it – ‘pathetic snowman’ in Monkstown, South Dublin…
And finally, the view from Dublin Airport…
That last one was from Dieter Hartfiel… Hope he’s off somewhere nice.
Keep the photos coming!
