THE FIRST ALL-FEMALE crew since Valentina Tereshkova’s solo flight in 1963 went to space yesterday.
Pop star Katy Perry, TV presenter Gayle King, and Lauren Sanchez – the fiancée of Jeff Bezos – were among the passengers on the Blue Origin flight.
The rocket blasted off from western Texas in the US and returned to earth just over ten minutes later.
