THE SUNNY WEATHER looks set to stay for the foreseeable future with Met Éireann forecasting “unbroken sunshine” across southern and eastern counties today.
Temperatures will be in the high teens and low 20s with it warmest in the west and across the midlands and a little lower in temperatures though near southern and eastern margins due to onshore breezes. Winds will be mainly light easterly overland.
There is a the prospect of some small showers in the west and north later with cloud more likely over Ulster.
And the outlook for tomorrow and the rest of the week is pretty good.
It will be dry and sunny tomorrow with a few localised showers and the rest of the week will be generally dry, warm and settled with good sunshine and light breezes.
Almost like actual summer.
