TAOISEACH MICHEÁL MARTIN made his annual trip to the White House yesterday for an Oval Office meeting and shamrock ceremony alongside Donald Trump.

Several topics were discussed during the meeting (mostly by Trump, Martin struggled to get a word in at times), including fuel costs, the Iran war, immigration, Trump’s hopes to attend the Irish Open and a rant about windmills.
