Teenage boy in critical condition after assault in Dublin city centre

The assault occurred at around 10pm.

A TEENAGE BOY has been hospitalised after a serious assault on Eden Quay in Dublin last night. 

The assault occurred at around 10pm. 

Gardaí say the boy was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where he is in critical condition.

The scene was preserved and a technical examination has been completed, gardaí said.

“Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident or who may have video footage to contact Store Street Garda Station on (01) 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” a spokesperson said.

Investigations are ongoing.
