The fact that actual celebrities signed up to star in this French comedy about a talent agency shows how much trust they put in its makers. We follow the staff of this talent agency as they wrangle their clients, their own careers, and their relationships with each other. Egos abound.

Hacks
This comedy series is about what happens when a veteran comedian, Deborah Vance (played by Jean Smart) has to team up with a whipsmart young writer Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder) to try and give her career a boost. These two are more frenemies than besties, and yet they can’t stop working together. This is a real treat of a show.

Look, we’re not going to question why everywhere crime author Jessica Fletcher goes, a murder is committed. Maybe it’s all just one big coincidence. Narcos Mexico
Michael Peña and Diego Luna star in this 2018 series about Mexico’s illegal drugs trade. It’s part of the Narcos stable, and fills us in on the beginnings of Mexico’s deadly drug war. Peña plays a DEA agent named Kiki Camarena, while Luna is Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, the leader of the fearsome Guadalajara Cartel. One for those who like their shows intense, with a big cast and real-life storylines.

Better Call Saul
It’s not often that a spin-off of an existing hugely popular show (in this case, Breaking Bad) ends up being as beloved as its predecessor. But Better Call Saul isn’t any ordinary show. It stars Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, an aspiring lawyer who happens to be a former con man – and decides to transform himself into the ethically suspect lawyer Saul Goodman. Odenkirk, who had a long history in comedy, proved himself a true star here.
