THE ARCHITECTS AND contractors of this new development had quite a task in bringing The Stables in Mount Merrion to reality: maintain the listed facade of the existing property to the utmost standard, and turn the interiors into homes with enviable finishes and style.
They seem to have hit their mark, and several homes in this small development are now on offer.
Seven original stable properties were renovated using conservational techniques, including lime render, handmade traditional sash windows, and period slate roofs.
Three new mews properties were built in keeping with the design and look of the original stables, creating a cohesive development suitable for families and professionals alike.
Two-bedroom properties are price on application, and three bedroom properties start at €700,000.
Inside, the homes will be finished to a stylish standard, with parquet wood floors, slab marble bathrooms, and quartz kitchen countertops.
Parking for two cars will be available in the courtyard, and bike storage will be offered as well.
Mount Merrion is conveniently located just south of UCD, directly off the N11, with proximity to the city centre by car, but, or Luas at the Marlborough stop. The leafy neighbourhood boasts well-ranked schools and ample opportunities to get outdoors, with several parks and Booterstown Strand nearby.
The properties will be offered from a mews showhouse starting in September, but you can register your interest now with Savills.
