Three people hospitalised after arson attack at Cork home

The incident happened overnight at around 12.30am.

THREE PEOPLE WERE hospitalised after an arson attack in Cork overnight.

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident at a home in Rochestown, Cork city at 12.30am.

A garda spokesperson described the scene as an “incident of criminal damage by fire”.

A woman in her 40s, a male teenager and a man in his 20s were taken to Cork University Hospital for assessment.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
