Two men due in court in connection with the death of Gerard Delaney

Gerard Delaney, 51, died from a combination of head injuries and stab wounds after a row outside a pub in Cork.

GARDAÍ IN TOGHER have arrested two men in their late 40s in relation to the death of 51-year-old Gerard Delaney from Mahon, Co. Cork.

Delaney was fatally assaulted in the early hours of 27 December 2011 in a public house on Lower Friars Walk, Ballyphehane.

Both men will be charged in relation to an incident inside the public house and will appear before Cork District Court this morning.
