Video: Seán FitzPatrick leaves court after case sent for trial

The former Anglo Irish Bank chief was before the Dublin District Court again today where his case was sent to the Circuit Criminal Court.

FORMER ANGLO IRISH Bank chief executive and chairman Seán FitzPatrick appeared in court in Dublin today where his case was sent forward for trial at the Circuit Criminal Court.

The former banker faces 16 charges of providing unlawful financial assistance to 16 individuals in July 2008. Former Anglo executives Willie McAteer and Patrick Whelan face the same charges.

Following a brief hearing in Dublin District Court today where the books of evidence – nine boxes – were served on the three men, FitzPatrick left court:
