EVERYONE’S FAVOURITE VOTE counter is back in action today in at the count centre at Nemo Rangers GAA club in Cork.

Cian O’Connor drew attention during the series of elections last year for his variety of novelty t-shirts worn over the few days counting took place.

One in particular – a t-shirt with the Father Ted quote “Maybe I like the misery” – gained O’Connor some internet fame as the general election counts in Cork went into the wee hours.

As count days were drawn out and seemed at times unending, O’Connor’s selection of t-shirts became something for people to look forward to. Pictures of him toting long ballots and slogan t-shirts made their way into every national media outlet during the coverage of the November vote.

Today’s outfit? Cian is sporting a grey t-shirt advocating for fellow Cork man Roy Keane to clinch the presidency.

As we await today’s official result, let’s take a look back at some of his most eye-catching looks….
