Everyone is talking about Alec Baldwin's spot on Donald Trump impression on SNL

Tina Fey-esque.

AHEAD OF TONIGHT’S second US Presidential debate, Donald Trump’s campaign for the White House has had a chaotic 48 hours.

After his apology for lewd comments caught on a microphone, some people were waiting to see how Saturday Night Live would handle the whole debacle.

And Alec Baldwin nailed it last night

Saturday Night Live / YouTube

With his inability to pronounce “apologise”

trump2 Saturday Night Live Saturday Night Live

People were comparing it to Tina Fey’s iconic SNL role back in ’08

And some of the lines were applauded with gusto on  Twitter

The praise has been fulsome

*round of applause*
