Orange Order condemns two vandal attacks on Orange Halls

Fourscore Orange Hall near Glenavy and Loughanreagh Orange Hall in Coleraine were attacked by vandals.

THERE HAVE BEEN two acts of vandalism on two Orange Halls in Northern Ireland in the past 36 hours.

An Orange Hall in the Garlandstown Road area of Glenavy, Antrim was damaged and an attempt was made to set it alight sometime between the evening of Tuesday 27 November and 5.30pm on Wednesday 28 November.

Access was gained to the roof of the Fourscore Orange Hall by a stolen gate from a nearby field and used as a ladder. A flammable liquid was poured into the building and minor damage was sustained. Damage was also caused to several roof tiles and guttering.
