Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, "a number" of men seriously injured

Police are currently at the scene of the incident at Woodvale Drive in the north of the city.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Belfast which has left a number of males seriously injured.

The incident is ongoing with the PSNI on site at Woodvale Drive in the north of the city.

The injured males have been taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in the city for treatment of their serious injuries.

It’s understood that the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were first contacted regarding the incident at about 7am this morning, and that four men have been injured.

“At this stage police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident,” said PSNI Superintendent Darrin Jones.
