KATIE TAYLOR’S CROKE Park swansong was officially announced yesterday.

The light-welterweight world champion from Bray will face undefeated French fighter Flora Pili on Saturday, 5 September.

It will bring the curtain down on a legendary sporting career and see Taylor become the first boxer to headline a prizefight at Croke Park since Muhammad Ali defeated Al ‘Blue’ Lewis in 1972.

Tickets will officially be released on Friday, 12 June, with prices ranging from €38.70 right up to €1,505.50.
