Two men arrested over alleged sexual assaults on two teenagers in Cork

The girls had been at a Jason Derulo concert.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED two men over allegations of serious sexual assaults on two teenagers in Cork last night.

RTÉ reports that the teenagers had been at the Jason Derulo concert at the ‘Live at the Marquee’ event and met a group of people in a nightclub afterwards.

The girls later contacted gardai to say that they were sexually assaulted by two men in a vehicle.

Gardai arrested two men aged in their early 30s and 40s at around 4am.

The men are currently being questioned at Bridewell Garda Station.

They can be held for up to 24 hours before being released or charged.

Forensic examinations are being carried out as part of the investigation.
