Man sustains serious injuries to his fingers in attack in Waterford
The incident happened shortly before 3pm in the city yesterday.
A MAN HAS received a serious injury to his fingers after an attack in a Waterford estate.
This happened shortly before 3pm at the Priory Lawn estate in the south of the city.
The individual received a serious cut to his hand and was transferred to Waterford Regional Hospital.
The man was accompanied by gardaí to the hospital and was later transferred to Cork University Hospital.
The man declined to give a statement to gardaí.
