Newbridge drugs bust yields €75k of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy

One man has been arrested.

GARDAÍ IN KILDARE have seized an assorted quantity of drugs estimated to be worth €75,000 after a search in Newbridge last night.

The drugs seized including cannabis plants, herb and resin as well as cocaine and ecstasy.

Gardaí say that the planned search was carried out last night at about 10pm as part of ongoing investigations into the sale of drugs in the area.

One man, aged 38-years, who was arrested after the search has been charged and will appear at a special sitting of Naas District Court tomorrow morning.
