Three men arrested after €2.7 million worth of drugs seized in vehicles

The discovery was made in Ashbourne shortly after 3pm.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested after €2.7 million worth of cannabis herb was found in a number of vehicles in Meath.

The discovery was made in Ashbourne shortly after 3pm.

The men, aged 58, 41 and 35, are currently being held at Ashbourne and Finglas Garda Stations. They can be held for up to seven days.

Gardaí say the operation is part of investigations targeting organised crime in the Dublin and Meath regions.
