A MAN HAS been arrested after gardaí seized illegal drugs worth an estimated €80,000 from a house in Tallaght.

Gardaí from the Divisional Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force carried out a search in the Drumcairn area of Tallaght last night.

They seized cannabis resin and cocaine (pending analysis) worth an estimated €80,000.

A man in his late-20s was arrested following the seizure.

He is currently being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
